As a working parent, you’re perpetually balancing between family obligations, your job, and maybe, if you’re lucky, that precious bit of time to yourself. You’re always on the go as a parent.
When you become a parent, it’s kind of an unspoken rule that you also turn into a personal driver for your kids. Baseball practice, piano lessons — you name it! It’s important to own a family vehicle that is safe and one that gives you the freedom to feel powerful behind the wheel.
Who better to learn from about a family vehicle than a family-owned dealership? Family-owned dealerships often deliver friendly, thoughtful service and place customer needs at the top of their priority list. The right place will offer tons of Ford models to choose from — including the 2020 Ford Escape.
To accommodate your busy schedule, Ford has redesigned the Ford Escape with brand new convenient features. You’ll find a new interior with lots of extra cargo space (for all that hockey equipment) and so much legroom it’s been voted best in its class.
Read on to discover why the Ford Escape is the perfect ride for your family and your best parenting pal.
Hands-Free Foot-Activated Liftgate
Something that really stands out about the 2020 Ford Escape is the Hands-Free Foot-Activated Liftgate. Fumbling for your keys during those moments when you have your hands full of groceries, pet food, or giant science fair projects is annoying and cumbersome.
With this feature and the Intelligent Access Key in your purse or pocket, you’ll be able to open the liftgate by simply kicking your foot under the bumper. It will automatically open up so you won’t have to lift a finger.
Available Active Park Assist 2.0
When you have a car-full of loud kids with you, it can be difficult to navigate tricky parking spots.
The Active Park Assist 2.0 brings parallel or perpendicular parking to an automatic level. Standard on Titanium, it’s a feature that is engaged by pressing the Active Park Assist button. The system will then detect an appropriate perpendicular or parallel parking spot.
Once a good spot has been identified, it will prompt you to come to a complete stop, shift to Neutral, and then release the brake pedal while holding the Active Park Assist button down; the vehicle does the rest.
All of the shifting, steering, brake, and accelerator controls are performed by the system. When it’s time to exit the parking spot, the system can do the exact same actions.
Panoramic Vista Roof
For those moments when you’re not frantically trying to get somewhere, relax and feel the breeze with the Panoramic Vista Roof. The Panoramic Vista Roof is comprised of a large forward panel that opens fully and a fixed rear skylight.
Hitting the open road with the family will have a whole new meaning with natural light and fresh air flowing through the vehicle with the Panoramic Vista Roof on an upcoming road trip.
The 2020 Ford Escape is the ideal family car. Learn more about it from your local, family-owned dealership. It offers ample convenience, sophisticated design, and powerful performance.
